Featuring: Apple Festival Highlights

• 308 apple varieties displayed in 2008 at Fulford Hall, all raised organically on Salt Spring

• Historical reenactments include: The Ghost of Theodore Trege & Maud Bridgman, Emily Carr, Captain Apple (a new south Salt Spring superhero), Johnny Appleseed will be here in 2009.

• 15 farms, many (NNOP) Not Normally Open to the Public, are on the Apple Festival tour.

• Apple Luscious Organic Orchard will have about 100 of the best apple varieties for tasting at their farm,
featuring up to 23 varieties of red-fleshed apples.

• Apple baking, orchard tours, apple ID, educational info, apple history and apple sales.

• Leading experts in orchard bee pollination.

Tickets are $10 each, students $5 and children under 12 are free
(available ONLY on Sunday, Oct 4, 2009).
