• Historical reenactments include: The Ghost of Theodore Trege &Maud Bridgman, Captain Apple
(a new south Salt Spring superhero), Johnny Appleseed was there in 2006.
• 15 farms, many (NNOP) Not Normally Open to the Public, are on the Apple Festival tour.
• Apple Luscious Organic Orchard will have about 125 apple varieties for tasting at their farm,
featuring up to 23 varieties of red-fleshed apples.
• Apple baking, orchard tours, apple ID, educational info, apple history and apple sales.
• Leading experts in orchard bee pollination.
Tickets are $10 each, students $5 and children under 12 are free
(available ONLY on Sunday, Sept 28, 2008).
